Due to our software, we will request plans sent to us digitally in DWG or DXF file format with a separate attachment for each page or floor of the plan. In the event DWG or DXF file format is not available or compatible we can draw it from your architectural print.
Yes. A deposit is due at the time the DWG or DXF file is sent to us. We will not begin the process of creating your shop drawings without the down payment.
Before your walls are complete you will receive an invoice for the total due. In many cases, we require payment in full before products are shipped.
Our wall panels are bunked with feet under them so forks can be placed under each bunk. We have 3 tractor trailer drivers we can hire and one driver with a roll-off truck (none of which are on our staff).
Yes! Unlike our competitors, we encourage you to purchase your own materials. You can shop for your materials and keep all the savings from your bargaining power that you have worked hard to achieve. However, we do require that you use only one vendor per job.
Your materials are color-coded and clearly labeled with your name and job name. Any leftover materials are band and returned to you or your vendor. We do require that materials are ordered with overages (tbd), so we have no lag time waiting for new materials to arrive due to culled materials.
Absolutely! We have a growing list of preferred framing contractors. We will provide their contact information.
We work with several crane operators in the area. We are happy to provide contact information.
Our goal is for a crew of 2 setting the panels plus 1 crane or lift operator to erect a 2500 square foot house in less than 2 weeks which includes sheathing the roof. With a more complicated floor system it could take an additional day or two.
Most framing contractors will drop their square foot price down 25-50% since they will be spending much less time on each job. The framing crew will make up the difference in earnings with the increase in volume. They can erect two and a half-prefabricated homes at the same time it takes to stick-frame one with the same floorplan. There is very little wear and tear on the body so your framers can build more houses without being burned out or slowing down.
